Male body dysmorphia is a topic very close to myself. This is a body condition that many struggle with, both women and men. This body of work began as a personal project focusing on my muscular dysmorphia. I used it as a way to explore my insecurities and by using photography a way to release them.

Male body dysmorphia has become a massive struggle in men, due to the media and society. The expectations of society has hinderd men from explaining and showing their insercurites with friends, family and others. For my final degree show I wanted to take my project further, focus on the impact on myself, but other males. This work showcases different insercurties that males feel, but most importantly the body of work became a way for other men to relaise there are many others who feel this same pain.
